Government changes the rules when it suits their purpose.

If you keep the issues separate then no one connects the dots.

When it comes to abortion..a fetus "doesn't count" as life.
Yet it counts as "life" if a pregnant woman gets killed.
Also counts as "life" for welfare benefits.

What's wrong with covering adult children, who are just starting out, under their parents health plan? Would you rather they be uninsured. For all you capitalists, 22 -26 year olds are generally a very low risk category that insurance companies make millions on.

These items that the OP points out aren't inconsistent, they are unrelated.
