There is no proof that anything ever evolved from another species or that it's even possible. Despite that people believe that it's factual no questions asked.

Now I say that not because I think they are foolish, I say that because be it unprovable evolution or a god, I do not understand why some get so all bent out of shape when it comes to what others believe.

There's certainly evidence.

There is theory. There is evidence in the same way a person will claim someone getting better through prayer is evidence of God.

Have you heard of disciplines such as "biology?" No questions asked? Science is EXACTLY that: Asking questions.

Except, of course, that one is empirical and can be reliably replicated and the other can not...

What you are showing here is that you have absolutely no grasp of the scientific method. None.

Can you explain to me, point by point, how it is the "same way", thank you.

Not necessarily. Psychology is a science.

Are things measured in psychology?

You have not a clue what the term "theory" means in science. It is completely different than, say, when you have a "theory" that Obama is constructing bulletproof Nazi zombies to confiscate your guns and Bibles.

Yes. If by measured you mean put into quatitative means, then only some things can be measured. For example, you can study the difference between the size of the hypothalamus compared to a personality trait, but you cant exactly measure thoughts, or experiences, or a person's interpretations and responses to any of the above.
