This seems to be a new ploy of rabidly intolerant conservatives: to obliviously claim that they are tolerant in spite of their own words, much less actions to the contrary.
If you're so loving of diversity, then put your money where your mouth is, so to speak, and and start standing up for the rights of gays to have their relationships recognized by law; for children of illegal immigrants to have a challenging but realistic pathway to citizenship that they can earn; and for other minorities not to be painted with too broad of a brush as welfare recipients and criminals.
Let's see one thread expressing ANY of these sentiments, for starters. Then, let's start seeing it in action. Until then, no one other than yourselves is likely to buy your claim of supposed tolerance of diversity.
