Speaking of bad mouthing, did you hear what William Blaine Richardson III said about Rafael Cruz?

It was pretty racist.

Yeah, so you hate his politics and hate how he doesnt "fall in line" with other Hispanics so maybe we should just say he is white.....
If Cruz should be defined as a Hispanic, does that mean Reagan and Bush should be defined as a White men?

Hispanic is a culture. White is a race. Learn to know the difference.

Yes you're. Or, at least hope everybody else is, so such republican propaganda is helped by it.

Default Bill Richardson doesnt think Ted Cruz should be called Hispanic

Teddy isn't qualified to launder Bill's jockstrap.

I suspect that part of what's happening here is that liberals are looking ahead to 2016 and seeing potential panic city. Suppose that Hillary declines to run. It is entirely possible that Joe Biden would end up as the 2016 nominee. Obama won, even in 2012, only because of his dominance in winning the non-white vote. He won the black vote by 93%, Hispanic vote by 70%, and Asian vote by 73%. That was over 25% of the electorate. Romney won the white vote by about 59-39.

I think much of this is driven by the perception among lo-info minority voters that the GOP is racist. What happens to that in 2016 if the GOP nominates a guy named 'Cruz,' who incidentally has degrees from Harvard and Princeton, and so is also immune to a usual demo-demonization tactic? Big trouble in rent-seeker's paradise.

This is the beginning of a desperate party-wide conversation on how to demonize Ted Cruz. If they have to they will even go birther on Ted. LOL, it is going to be entertaining if nothing else.

Bill Richardson is wrong. Most Hispanics do not favor CIR unless they're first or second generation or illegal. I don't think Cruz should be labelled Hispanic either, but for different reasons.

William Blaine Richardson III calling Rafael Edward Cruz a "fake Hispanic" is laughable. Richardson has been using Hispanics his entire career.
