Because Liberals are extremely unhappy, depressive people who need to suck the fun out of everything. They weren't invited to the party so misery loves company.

censorship is a big part of the left. the liberty they cry out for, they are unwilling to give to others. that means u r looking at an entitlement group wanting special rights and privileges not a group appealing for equality.

Valiant attempt, but the right also wants to ban things on the "marketplace" - like books, television shows, movies, pornography, etc. Heck, even prostitution (which I'd like to see legalized) could be considered a marketplace commodity. And as a librarian, I can personally assure you it's not often the liberals who are looking to censor books.

Nah... I have my bad days like anyone else, but for the most part I'm a pretty happy person. And while I am a bit old for partying now, I did MORE than my share back in the day!

I also partake in most of these things liberals supposedly want banned, so if that's how you measure a fun life, I'm having a blast.

That is because religion is a major part of where the conservative values are based in. Liberal values are based around equality. I think that somethings should be censored but the best censors are parents because they know what is and isn't appropriate for kids. For example, if kids copy action from say Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, maybe they shouldn't watch shows like that. Government can't do that job for everyone.

Really? Hitman by 'Rex Feral' was a schlock book that was banned after a lawsuit in the 1990's after a lawsuit. I can personally assure that the trial lawyers lobby is not a conservative element.

Hit Man: A Technical Manual for Independent Contractors - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Joe Biden has supported plenty of library-related bans.
VP Candidate Biden Is No Friend to File Sharing, Net Neutrality Protection or Online Privacy

Is he a liberal? Who knows. He's not a conservative nor Republican, no does Pres. Obama seem to have a problem with his views.

But the ultimate example of censorship is the 'fairness doctrine' which regulated broadcast opinion journalism. Nancy Pelosi, Dick Durbin, Charles Schumer, and Dianne Feinstein are all on record as supporting it. Ronald Reagan overturned it. I don't know of a Republican who has supported it since Richard Nixon.

The same thing could be said about right wingers whether it is marijuana, abortion, gay marriage, contraception, young and poor people voting, atheism/Islam/any non-Christian view.

I personally don't care whether someone smokes, what they drink, or whether they have guns. With that said the Conservative penchant for wanting to use the power of the state to oppress me for my non-Christian views and age is far more troubling then anything I have heard from any liberal.
