Let me get this straight.

While law-abiding Americans have been buying thousands (millions?) of guns for the last few decades....

... crimes (including gun crimes) have FALLEN during that same period?

What does that say about the "More guns equals more crime" mantra the leftist fanatics have been hammering us with?

In a "shall-issue" state, when you apply for a concealed-carry permit, they must issue it to you unless they can find a good reason not to (you are a felon, you are underage etc.).

In a "may issue" state, they can refuse you the permit for any reason at all, like if you didn't give them a good enough reason why you should have one. These are sometimes called "shall die" states, since it seems like that's what it takes to get a permit sometimes.

So now these reports come out, one from the U.S. Justice Dept, saying gun crimes have gone way down over the last few decades.

Do you suppose that has anything to do with the fact that the number of "shall issue" states has gone way up during the same period, and the number of "may issues" states had gone way down? In other words, a LOT more law-abiding citizens have been able to carry concealed weapons.

And what do you know? Gun crime went WAY down.

Naw, that couldn't have had anything to do with it. Nope, nope.

It's hardly "mainstream".
It is definetly MSM.

FOX, CNN, MSNBC, ABC, CBS. There is the core MSM.

It's always a hoot to see the leftist fanatics trying to slip in a mention of the least-viewed station in the country, in an attempt to pretend their own dwindling numbers are somehow "mainstream".

MSNBC probably has fewer viewers than the number of people who voted for the "My Rent Is Too Damned High" party in the last election, but the fanatics won't give up on them... or on the agenda that normal Americans are dropping faster than Democrats' Ku Klux Klan memberships.

Hilarious.

Hilarious? Fanatics? Really?

I ask, because it is not "leftist fanatics" who associate MSNBC with MSM, it is the usually the right wingers. They have put in a lot of effort to make MSNBS synonymous with the MSM which they consider synonymous with left wing. For the same reason they argue FOX is not MSM, when it obviously is. As a matter of fact, this is the first time I have ever heard anyone say MSNBC is not MSM. LOL

What is hilarious is the fact that you make this about MSNBC, when dozens of media outlets are reporting the exact same thing about gun violence.

It's almost as if s/he is trying to dispute the credibility of the report. Can't imagine why.

Some people just love to disagree and argue just for the sake of arguing.

Default Gun deaths decreasing over the past 20 years

Why doesn't this get more publicity? Gun deaths are down 49% over the past 20 years or so. Meanwhile, Americans are buying millions of guns every year.

Is it true that the MSM and the Dems just don't want Americans to know the truth?

So, give us the numbers. "Millions of Guns" does not quite cut it. I doubt that the FBI or the BATF knows the exact number, but maybe you do.
