Same-sex marriage is legal here, and yes that has been seen in public and no-one really cares or even bats an eye, nor did they do that prior to same-sex marriage being legal here when it was also seen..
No one bats an eye? In all honesty, I've never seen two men hold hands in public and kiss. Why is that?
I do wonder how people will react (in the states with same sex marriage), when they see two men or two women holding hands in public and kissing each other.
Will most people feel compelled to run away and shield their children?
This is pretty common in the part of Minneapolis where I live. I don't think anyone cares.
I have lived in many cities, including Atlanta, which has plenty of gays, but I have seriously never seen two men or even two women kissing in public and holding hands.

And even circuit courts have found that there is no compelling state interest to deny SSM.
And some courts have not used the compelling state interest standard. You're still avoiding the point.
If by some crazy misinterpretation of the constitution, the Supreme Court does not overturn bans against ssm, do you agree or not that the number of states that will legalize ssm has an upper limit of 20 or so ? That the recent wave of legislative victories will slow to a trickle ?
