Captain J. H., USAF retired

When a soldier is killed in the line of duty, his family eventually gets a flag and a note conveying sympathy and respect and from the United States Government.

When a pro basketball player announces he is gay, he immediately gets a personal phone call from the President congratulating him for his courage.

Am I missing something?

Yeah, obama, like most weak libs, have a serious complex regarding US service members.
And he's probably hoping that guy would slam some balls for him lol

This is what the liberals have done to this country, and it is going to get worse.

Nope. Its how he is and who he is. It took him no time to make that phone call too. Its sad, really. He and others say the gay ball player had courage. Lol. Huh? No. Military members have courage. Whistle blowers have courage.

He did it for politics. Just like Michelle is now using the gay for politics at some bash or something.

But hey, Obama sometimes hand signs a letter for the fallen. Oh how thoughtful of him....

Yes you are. It's easier to go with the flow than against it. That takes courage.

The only thing you might have missed was the 2008 election where all personal responsibility and morals went straight out the window. Hopey Changey.

Obama does things to increase his political currency. I would not want a letter from the person that sent my loved one to die.

Well, I hope the republicans actually come up with a guy we can work with. Drop the abortion and gay issues. Quit hating on unions and forget about this right to work garbage.

I may vote for him if they could just do that.

As a former vet, I should mention that Elvis was made a federal agent -by Nixon - to fight crime. Elvid died from drugs, and Nixon was a criminal, so there. There's the irony for today.
As a former vet, I'd like to mention that some soldiers eventually get purple hearts. If only Obama gave enough of a damn to actually show up and give them out himself, instead of farming it off to others.

Obama visits wounded troops, awards two Purple Hearts

I think it's pretty obvious what's going on here.

How in the hell do any of you know whom the president calls and DOESN'T call? You're talking out of your asses as usual.

Does every single fricken issue have to revert back to whether we've kissed veteran's asses enough?

The prez calls a gay dude to reassure him, and somehow that's illogically twisted into some weird meme about dead soldiers. SMH..

You guys get butthurt too easily. Geez.
