LOL, you think homosexuals are all on welfare? Quite the opposite.

3 states in 3 weeks have legalized SSM. 3 states VOTED to allow SSM in November. The supreme court is currently hearing 2 cases on the issue.

So, exactly which war are you winning?

The income stats above show an opening for the GOP. Gays are, on average, more wealthy than their straight counterparts. If the GOP would drop the social issues BS, they could probably peel off gay votes. 30% already vote GOP.

Anyway, the SC will probably repeal DOMA, and federal marriage benefits will be extended to SS married couples regardless of where they live. It will not legalize SSM nationwide, however - that is probably a step too far right now.

Very glad of my state to see equality in all. I am a straight married male with 3 young kids and glad that they will grow up in a state where everyone is treated equally.

LMAO...WRONG. It's the other side of the River - the Loring Park and Uptown areas, mostly - that are homosexual "havens". In fact take someone from the other side of the River and they are likely to think quite a few of us over here on this side are racist, redneck trash, at least on the East Side. LOL

Sure St. Paul is very liberal, but I can assure not all of it is.

The liberals are actually invading the East Side, they're even trying to build a food co-op...

Yeah, they're sort of taking over, but they've always been here. But the East Side always had a gritty, rougher edge than many other areas of the TC, IMO.
