Hey Liberals..... so much for your proposed "high capacity magazine" ban.....

This mag was printed on one of these 3d printers.

MAKE | Proscribed Printables

It's time for government to start regulating these 3D printers because there are a few people who do bad things with them...... Oh wait.... I guess when it comes to 3D printers, they have a bit of a different outlook than they do on guns...

Quote:
3D printers can now help a bad guy break into your home, steal your money, and even assemble an unlicensed automatic weapon. Clearly it's time to pass some laws that limit what these things can do, right? Not so fast.
The author goes on to say...

Quote:
He says that, while some uses of 3D printers are obviously dangerous and illegal, we have to think about how much 3D printing is to blame
Wait a tic, isn't that the same thing gun owners are saying about guns?

Quote:
because these { criminal } uses are just the tip of the iceberg of what 3D printing can do. "It's not time to ignore 3D printing,"
Much like the various uses of guns huh?

Quote:
If we move prematurely to regulate 3D printers, we could fail to protect against the real dangers of the technology
Amazing how people can apply such sound logic to other inanimate objects, but the same logic is lost on them when it comes to guns.

Are you that clueless about your own government that you have no clue how laws are enacted?

Presidents do not enact laws, Congress does.

There is already the less-than-lethal rubber bullets but I would prefer the DIY cast bullets. If you like the brass coated ones, there's also a process to use old .22LR fired brass to cover a .223 lead bullet. Press that into a fired .223 cartridge and you have the ultimate recycling.

I haven't heard of anyone drowning anyone to death with a water gun, so I suppose it's okay to keep it.

It's not the printer that costs the big bucks. It's the polymer plastics, and they won't drop in price.
As soon as some idiot blows his hand off from using the wrong plastic, that will be that.
