Ah..LPR status and benefits. Yes, the headlines lead us to believe it will be years before they are citizens and able to apply for social welfare benefits.

But LPR..yes they can apply. I mentioned that in a thread in the illegal forum.

I'm sure that Immigration Bill and it's current 300+ amendments is chock full of surprises.
But you know what..we probably have to pass the bill to find out what's in it
