Fair is fair.
I think you mean "about" time. I'm from a middle class "white" family. Mixed blood European and Native. I don't have too much sympathy for this argument from white middle class people because they (and many of my ancestors included) are also immigrants. If it was right for your family to come here, then don't get on a pedestal and tell other people not to come because it's victimizing you. If you don't like it, then why not take a boat right back to Europe and try your luck there! The economy sucks for everyone. I'm sure you will fare much better if you stop worrying that other people are getting ahead at your expense and focus on doing what you need to get ahead. Prosperity pie? Sounds pretty self-entitled.

If you can chop me up into FOUR PARTS, I'd go back, so that's not really gonna work. Even then, Europe too is being invaded by an alien culture not unlike the one in America.

That is debatable.

What one does with their educational opportunities and degree is what matters.

Besides - plenty of mediocre and inept people have graduated from Harvard.

The current POTUS is one of them.

So you really think Harvard law students would choose a mediocre & inept student for one of their most prestigious positions?

Heading the Harvard Law Review isn't exactly "prestigious".

Have you ever read the junk that is printed in that waste of a few perfectly good trees?

I think scholarships should be based on merit and need, not skin color.

With all the opportunities for minorities to go to college, it is they who are the lazy ones for not even taking advantage of it.

Maybe you feel like life has dealt you a raw deal.
Thank you i respect your opinion. When my son graduated with scholarships his friends who were also black and HIGHLY intelligent also got scholarships. For those deserving of this great merit they deserve it.

I am tired of anyone going "boo hoo" when they want something period, without working for it, and i don't care what damn race you are.

I don't see anything wrong with scholarships for blacks, or white or whatever race you are, if these scholarships are granted by merit.

I'd put money on the fact that you'd never heard of Harvard until you heard Obama went there.
