That's it. Right there is the reason to bring up the past 40 years. Don't make the claim if you don't want people to bring up everything from Watergate to now.

Selling arms to Iran in order to fund contra rebels in Nicaragua is a close second. You want to talk about a cover up--how about the large volume of documents that were either withheld or destroyed by the Reagan Administration to impede the investigation? Reagan escaped prosecution, and every one of the criminals involved were pardoned by the senior President Bush when he took office, who just happened to be the VP when the crime was taking place. How lucky for them.

Remember in 2007 as soon as the Democrats retook Congress, Queen Pelosi said that prosecuting the Bush administration criminals was "off the table?" Why? They should all be down in SuperMax right now along with the shoe bomber and the Unibomber.
I'll tell you why--because she knew that if she and the Democrats in Congress took any action against them, that they wouldn't be able to get away with all the crimes they planned on committing.
All that proves is that the Obama administration is just as crooked and corrupt as the Bush administration...
Which was just as corrupt and crooked as the Clinton administration...
Which was just as corrupt as the Reagan administration...
And so on and so on and so on...
I said way back in 2008 that Obama was Bush with a suntan, and people laughed at me. I wonder if they're still laughing...
So then you disagree with the OPs contention that one has to go back to Watergate to find similar.
When the OPs first post says, "WOW! I haven't seen anything this bad since Watergate and this is actually beating that," it's appropriate to cite the last administration's scandals which does top it.
None of the items you listed had "Bush" name on it, yes thats the new standard you are now setting by excusing these actions under Obama because his name isnt anywhere on them as you move from "Obama didnt do it" To "lying isnt a crime"
If TPTB feels that Obama is no longer of any use to them, he's about finished as a salesman for weakening citizens rights anyway, they'll have him resign or even allow scandals to make him be impeached and removed that way. He wouldn't oppose them.
