You need to put that in perspective that it was a Palestinian (PLO) started war in 70-71 in an attempt to overthrow the gov't with the aid of Syria. Also keep in mind that the inflated number given is supplied by the PLO and not Jordan. But you are completely correct about the crickets since it's seen as a non-issue by the world media. There is no yearly remembrance day for it in any fashion anywhere in the world media.
Aren't the Palestinian people just meek and mild peace seekers who would never attempt to overthrow the government of where they lived?

You probably meant:
Hamas has ordered its forces preventing against rocket fire into Israel to retreat, Walla! reports Sunday - giving various terrorist groups a green light to attack Israel.
Israel is under no obligation to withdraw to the 6/4/67 lines. However the day Israel ever so decides too (Which they won't), the Palestinians will begin to agitate for UNGA 181 borders ( Which their historic Arab leaders rejected initially). Rockets and suicide bombers attacks will begin all over again, and the world will ask Israel to make more sacrifices while the Palestinians continue with terrorism and rejectionism with no penalty. And since the Palestinians can't win against Israel with warfare, it commits lawfare by claiming Israel rejects international law. All the brilliant works of Arafat's little plan.
Last Night we were at the White House on the anniversary of Nakba Day (The Palestinian Day of Catastrophe)
The very brutal occupation of Palestine must end.

Oh yeah, they "Palestinians were kicked out of Lebanon, and then out of Jordan.
FYI: You have it reversed. The Palestinians was removed from Jordan, moved to Lebanon, and around 10 years later were removed from Lebanon and moved to Syria. So now a majority have been removed from Syria and are now they are in UN supplied tent cities primarily in Turkey & Jordan (where they are fenced in). And to add insult to them, the Palestinian governments (Fatah/Hamas) won't let them into the territories blaming it on Israel (so lets get this straight, they have tunnels and have been smuggling through them for decades, but won't allow Syrian Palestinian refugees to enter through these same tunnels).
And of course lets add that the Palestinians living in the territories have been protesting for the return of some funding that was cut to take care of Palestinian refugees from Syria, but also have been protesting for the the UNRWA to INCREASE their funding on top of what was reduced. And who would believe that these same Palestinians are unionized. http://www.maannews.net/eng/ViewDetails.aspx?ID=669402
I do not agree with every policy or action taken by the Israeli government, but I support the right of Israel and the Israeli people to exist and to survive and to defend herself against the attacks from her enemies.
