Interesting that "the country with the highest proportion of 'intolerant' people who wanted neighbours similar to them was Hong Kong, where 71.8 per cent of the population would refuse to live next to someone of a different race. Next were Bangladesh on 71.7 per cent, Jordan on 51.4 per cent and India with 43.5 per cent."
North and most of South America were the least racist, along with Australia.
I know a guy in the suburbs of Chicago who has lived in his home for over 40 yrs. His neighbors of a certain ethnicity have taken over the block, have parties all summer long, blocking off the street so that he cannot leave his home, playing their ethnic music loud into the night to prevent him from a night's sleep.

I want more diversity where we live. In Arlington Heights it seems that almost everybody is white. You see some Hispanics and a fair amount of Asians but not many blacks for some reason. The place is not racist or hostile so I don't know why. We need more blacks and some gays too.
