Intimidation and control is the natural consequence of a leftist government.

Well he is a Senator of Kentucky if that tells you anything.

Along with Rand Paul. There's something seriously wrong in Kentucky...

I usually make fun of your threads but I have to agree with you here. McConnell is a repulsive figure and the {R} party should kick Mitch to the curb and bring in some new blood.

Default McConnell doesn't speak the truth;distorts reality

McConnell has been a cancer on the Senate. Presiding over a Republican contingent, their own goal is to oppose the President. They have abandoned common sense. They oppose the President's agenda even though that agenda and the legislation that is required to support it, IS FAR, FAR SUPERIOR TO WHAT REPUBLICANS HAVE PROPOSED ANYTIME IN RECENT MEMORY. Decades have passed and Republicans still push the same old crap. The demographics have drastically changed, and greatly disfavors the Republican agenda, yet they continually push this same crap. John Boehner is another pathetic GOP figure in the House. Shameful, shameful ball of tears he is, just a blubbering, slobbering, wimping imbecile who is partners in crime with McConnell. Together, they head a GOP contingent in Congress which abandons all reason, tossing good sense, fair judgment, intelligence under the bus.

If this bunch is feeling "intimidated", I say it's about time. The country thrives when the GOP doesn't have their way. They'd rather see the economy fail then raise taxes on the wealthy, who unfairly and disproportionately were enriched during the Dubya years. They'd rather throw granny over a cliff to cut the budget deficit which they ignored under Dubya. They'd rather maximize profits for their fat, dumb, and happy wealthy executives, rather than give jobs to qualified Americans or fund adequate medical care for all. If intimidation helps defeat their agenda, this is GOOD.

The quote, however, is suspect and is at best four steps removed from Jarrett herself.

Though repeated widely in hundreds of blogs and even the website of a Philadelphia newspaper, the original source of the quote appears to be a blog site called The Ulsterman Report.

Yet even “Ulsterman” doesn’t claim to have actually heard the words spoken. The blog merely quotes an unnamed source called “Wall Street Insider,” who quotes an unnamed source in Chicago, who was quoting an unnamed representative from Jarrett’s office, who was allegedly quoting Jarrett."

And now, also from your own source, here is the actual quote from the president that has eRay so apoplectic:

"No, no, no, don’t boo. Vote,” Obama told the crowd. “Vote! Voting is the best revenge.”

This is why no one should ever believe anything you post.
Three unamned sources has to be some kind of record, great link.
