The charity has an address. It's a mailbox drop site. Since the charity's activities are in Kenya, so what?
And the poor Daily Caller continues to try to make a big deal out of the retroactive tax-exempt status. Evidently they can't grasp that virtually every organization that applies get's retroactive status.
This charity has no connection to President Obama.
You don't have to have a building or an office to be a non-profit--all you need is a mailing address for correspondence. You don't need employees either--the entire thing can be run by volunteers. You DO have to have a board of directors with officers (often all volunteer), financial records, and meeting minutes. Lots of small nonprofits and charities without staff meet at people's homes or free meeting space at a public library, etc., and the volunteers or staff work from home. The Obama foundation is a CHARITY that raises money for projects in Kenya--that can be done with all volunteer support, or with staff offsite. I'm not sure what the OP's problem is.
Over scandals?
If you continue to tell yourself a lie eventually you began to believe it.
Thats debatable.
And.
If it's debatable, then debate it. How is President Obama involved with this charity? Is he on the board? Does he help decide which houses or churches are going to be built? Do tell us.
