Two weeks in and the IRS scandal gets worse and worse. What's even more interesting is some in the press have shaken off the torpor of their Obama-induced adulation to do some real investigating and little nuggets are beginning to pop up.

Someone took a serious look at Lois Lerner and discovered she had a history of harassing conservative groups - "...prior to joining the IRS, Lerner's tenure as head of the Enforcement Office at the Federal Election Commission (FEC) was marked by what appears to be politically motivated harassment of conservative groups." IRS's Lerner Had History of Harassment, Inappropriate Religious Inquiries at FEC | The Weekly Standard

The WH knew Lois Lerner was about to apologize - "In both of these cases, Treasury discussed the potential disclosures with the White House and said that the department planned to defer to the IRS." Treasury consulted on multiple occasions about timing of IRS disclosure, source says

And Americans don't like what's going on. From this poll in WaPo - "Q: As you may know it's been disclosed that the IRS singled out some conservative political groups for extra questions about their tax status. Do you think it was appropriate or inappropriate for the IRS to do this?"

74% said inappropriate. This story has legs that are getting longer every day.

This threatens the future $ contributions for all conservatives. It can't just be swept under the woodpile.

Yes... it's interesting that real journalists can tell the difference between a real scandal and a partisan witch hunt.

What real journalists are digging through is the cotton-candy spin put on this scandal by administration mouthpieces claiming "mistakes were made" and blaming those meanies in the GOP that just want to score points.

Using the IRS to control and intimidate political opponents is dangerous stuff, and it's fascinating (and a little disturbing) how many of you folks are okay with it.

That is right the real scandal is believing that Obama is in charge of anything with his know nothingness, his Oamnesia which rhymes with Indonesia where he grew up listening to Islamic praying and they know how to lie when convenient over there, there, there ...

What these three scandals have taught me is just how little liberals actually know about how our government works. Its shameful and is all the proof one needs to see how Obama's supporters really are just sheep in a pasture waiting to be herded for the next defense of this President.
