LOL Do some of you really think this came from a Chicago Law professor?

The blogger likely made up that story based on reading this... Media Inquiries | University of Chicago Law School

Well, congratulations, you have earned nutter status in just one thread. Usually it takes someone at least a few.

In your mind democracy doesn't count if the voters disagree with you? Next, I will read what a "Patriot" you claim to be.

I swear, you guys try to hold it in, but you can't. It always manages to find a way out.
I love how people who didn't go to an Ivy League school are so impressed with them. Does nobody remember when in 2001 a Boston Globe investigation that revealed "91% of Harvard graduates received honors" that year (Why Grade Inflation Is Serious - NYTimes.com).

My brother went to Harvard Law and graduated back in 1982. He'd be the first to tell you (in gentle liberal terms) that minorities get a free academic ride, while non-minority students (excluding some technical majors) will get good grades with less effort than they expended in high school.

Other students give similar stories: "Harvard's academic requirements are not hard; in particular, the requirements for my concentration (Economics) are relatively lax." (Harvard University | Student Reviews | Best College | US News)
And this telling statement: "as any undergraduate who actually attends the school knows, the Harvard education is overrated..After a recent class, I remarked to the tenured professor that I had completed more in-depth research papers in high school, where I had possessed unrivaled access to my teachers and unlimited guidance during the research process, than I had in my time in Cambridge. 'That's the problem with this place,' the professor grinned, not in the least surprised. 'There is not enough contact between professors and students.'" (A Harvard Education Isn't As Advertised - US News and World Report). Even Harvard professors have publicly criticized Harvard's lax academic standards. The Truth About Harvard - Ross Douthat - The Atlantic

If Obama is so brilliant and believes so much in transparent government, why does he refuse to release ANY grades, transcripts, test scores, or other academic information, and in addition spend approx. $1.4 million to prevent anyone from accessing them? The Mystery of Barack Obama Continues | Obama Social Security Numbers

Actually, there's plenty of real info out there on Obama's academic "achievements." His academic career started with "an admitted lackluster academic performance at Punahou School, an elite Hawaiian prep school." Ever Wonder How Obama Got into Occidental College? We May Have Found the Answer | TheBlaze.com He was admitted to Occidental and given scholarship money due to a major push to reverse declining minority enrollment. Ever Wonder How Obama Got into Occidental College? We May Have Found the Answer | TheBlaze.com

He claims to have transferred to Columbia and graduated in 1983 with a B.A. in political science (no honors at all). This seems plausible, considering that another Columbia PolySci student graduating in 1983 reports that they "were taught a detailed plan designed by two former Columbia professors named Cloward & Piven to bring down “the system,” destroy capitalism, and turn America into a socialist state. We discussed it in class, wrote about it, and debated it outside class. It was our #1 topic for four years." (Obama) But this graduate and Len Rosen, CEO of Barclays Israel, both 1983 Columbia PolySci graduates, state they never even heard of Obama during their time at Columbia. Twenty-five other 1983 Columbia grads were interviewed in Israel before an Obama visit, and all affirm they never saw Obama or heard his name--despite him being one of the only black students on a very small campus. Obama is also not mentioned in the Class Yearbook. Obama's Israeli Columbia classmates don't recall the young president - Israel News | Haaretz Daily Newspaper

So let's skip to Harvard Law School: with his father being a Harvard grad, and he being a minority, he had a big advantage over other applicants--but with a PolySci degree with no honors, he still shouldn't gotten in (Found? Obama's LSAT Score). But the liberal puppeteers were already gathering: in 2008 "the venerable African-American entrepreneur and politico, Percy Sutton, told host Dominic Carter how he was asked to help smooth Barack Obama’s admission into Harvard Law School 20 years earlier" by Dr. Khalid al-Mansour, the principal adviser to billionaire Saudi prince Al-Waleed bin Talal.
Saudi billionaire did help Obama into Harvard

So Obama gets accepted and somehow all his Harvard expenses are paid (though he has yet to work even a part-time job). He's then elected President of the Harvard Law Review. It is not an honor given to the most promising student: it's a popularity-contest election--and not surprisingly, 2 out of 3 HLR Presidents end up being minority, despite Harvard's vast majority of white students. Despite being such a champion of the downtrodden, Obama managed to be at the center of a scandal when he selected 27 men to be editors, but only 9 women, to work on the HLR--a dramatic underrepresentation not seen in the HLR in recent memory. When officially criticized, Obama wrote in response that "including women in the Review’s affirmative action program was 'unnecessary'--although he himself had 'undoubtedly benefited from affirmative action programs.'" Obama's 'War on Women' at the Harvard Law Review.

Despite his privileged position of President of the HLR, Obama published not a single legal article, while any student belonging to the HLR staff is entitled to at least one piece, with most students publishing two or more. No other HLR President in Harvard history published NOTHING of his own. The Harvard Law Review he oversaw ended up being "the least-cited volume of the Harvard Law Review in the last 20 years." How Good Was Obama At Running The Harvard Law Review? | VDARE.com

Amazing how it is only on subjective (liberal) opinion that Obama has ANY success to point to.

Obama then spends 12 years teaching law (3 classes a year) at the U of Chicago while working as a lawyer. Again, "While most colleagues published by the pound, he never completed a single work of legal scholarship." http://www.nytimes.com/2008/07/30/us...anted=all&_r=0 Furthermore, "At a school where economic analysis was all the rage, he taught rights, race and gender"--in other words, always subjective stuff, because math and technical skills were beyond him. Some genius.

During this period, one of his liberal admirers was so impressed by his HLR Presidency that she arranged a contract for him to write his (now famous) biography--with a $125,000 advance. A year later, much of which Michele and Obama spent vacationing in Bali using the advance money, no manuscript had been written and the contract was cancelled. Undaunted, the admirer got ANOTHER contract with another publisher and another advance--this time for $40,000. Obama by that time had yet another wealthy supporter, liberal Chicago political activist Bill Ayers (who had published his own memoir), and suddenly Obama's book was finished--leading many to believe it was either ghostwritten or radically reworked by Ayers himself (Archived-Articles: Who Wrote Dreams From My Father?). In 2008 alone Obama received over $2.5 million in royalties from "his" book. Obama Earned Nearly $2.5 Million in Book Royalties in 2008 | 44 | washingtonpost.com

A brief aside for Michele Obama, yet another recipient of liberal largess. After getting her Law degree, she was a lawyer employed by the City of Chicago per recommendation of Jesse Jackson: known in Chicago as an “untouchable hire,” meaning "this is someone on the City payroll who can never be fired or even disciplined in any way because their employment was a political favor to someone." Michele's next job was largely the same, in a political pay-back position related to Obama's Senate election, at pay of $300,000 a year--a position that somehow didn't need to be filled again after she left to join Obama's presidential campaign. Why did Obamas really lose their law licenses? Answer might surprise you. Yeah, those Obamas just never get a break.

For the life of me, I don't understand why liberals worship a narcissist who is the poster boy for "You Didn't Earn That," who lived a charmed life while freely admitting in an ABC interview that his worst fault is laziness (Obama Admits Laziness Is His Worst Fault?), and who has NOT A SINGLE LIFE ACHIEVEMENT that cannot be attributed to blind liberal adoration.

Unbelievable--I thought you might be kidding. This story broke in the Chicago Tribune in January of 2000, before Obama's capture of the Democratic nomination. The national media totally ignored it. Apparently Obama's been using taxpayer dollars to "pick losers" for his entire political career.

The article states: "As a state senator, Barack Obama gave $100,000 in state money to a campaign volunteer who failed to deliver on a plan to create a botanic garden in one of Chicago's most blighted neighborhoods...what was supposed to be a six-block stretch of trees and paths is now a field of unfulfilled dreams, strewn with weeds, garbage and broken pavement." The grant money was supposed to be for 50 homes in Rosewood Estates. Only a dozen were built. The volunteer claimed he spent the money on "underground site preparations," but the reporter walking the site for verification found no site prep in evidence. No, it wasn't debunked.
He was AWOL; easily found on the internet. Try it.

Your poutrage is noted but your comments are ridiculous.

Tell me what free stuff I wanted? I voted for him twice.
Maybe the idiots on your side should vote.
Sorry, voters make the choice; don't vote, don't whine.
