So you used the "baby, I'll pull out. I promise" technique?

Or the old GOP favorite, "Aspirin" technique.

It can? So then the white teens somehow magically have more easy access to birth control, condoms, and education than the minorities do? Who knew......

Well it isn't magic, but now you know. Though teen birth rates had been going down with minorities, which shows that it is starting to work.

Actually, the article I read on NPR said nothing about increased access to birth control or increased sex education being the driver of the decreased teen pregnancy rate. Instead, it said that "In addition to the effects that a weak economy may be having on teen pregnancies, experts have also credited educational efforts about the costs and consequences of pregnancy for the decline."

Now granted, it could be both. However, in a rare event similar to a major eclipse, I agree with pghquest that condoms and BCP have been available for some time now.

No, it isn't magic. It's stupidity, cultural ignorance, and poor parenting. Which demographic is clearly leading the pack in that regard?

Excellent, black birth rates are falling...

Still not low enough unfortunately, but I'll take it.
