From his speech yesterday...........

"Today, the core of al Qaeda in Afghanistan and Pakistan is on the path to defeat. Their remaining operatives spend more time thinking about their own safety than plotting against us. They did not direct the attacks in Benghazi or Boston. They’ve not carried out a successful attack on our homeland since 9/11."

Dear leader tells us all that there is no AQ doing any of this stuff. Just more workplace violence I guess.
But here useful idiots is the really big threat to your safety that we must crack down on..........

"And finally, we face a real threat from radicalized individuals here in the United States. Whether it’s a shooter at a Sikh Temple in Wisconsin, a plane flying into a building in Texas, or the extremists who killed 168 people at the Federal Building in Oklahoma City, America has confronted many forms of violent extremism in our history. Deranged or alienated individuals — often U.S. citizens or legal residents — can do enormous damage, particularly when inspired by larger notions of violent jihad. And that pull towards extremism appears to have led to the shooting at Fort Hood and the bombing of the Boston Marathon. "

Bill Clinton is that you? The green light has just been given to AQ. They will come calling just like on 9-11. Obama stands with the muslims.

This is what he should have said...........

"We shall go on to the end. We shall fight in France, we shall fight on the seas and oceans, we shall fight with growing confidence and growing strength in the air, we shall defend our island, whatever the cost may be. We shall fight on the beaches, we shall fight on the landing grounds, we shall fight in the fields and in the streets, we shall fight in the hills; we shall never surrender"

Time to bring home the troops from Afghanistan and Iraq, 10 years violating the constitution for the war on the unknown is enough.

Quote:

Beyond Afghanistan, we must define our effort not as a
boundless “global war on terror,”
but rather as a series of persistent,
targeted efforts to dismantle specific networks of violent extremists that
threaten America. In many cases, this will involve partnerships with other
countries. Already, thousands of Pakistani soldiers have lost their lives
fighting extremists. In Yemen, we are supporting security forces that have
reclaimed territory from AQAP. In Somalia, we helped a coalition of African
nations push al-Shabaab out of its strongholds. In Mali, we’re providing
military aid to French-led intervention to push back al Qaeda in the Maghreb,
and help the people of Mali reclaim their future.

Different time, different place, the enemy was very well defined.

Yes that will do what in the fight against terrorism? Waving the white flag is something liberals will always sign right up for. Just like the French. I guess that is why they want to be like the French.

Obama's speech yesterday was a conspiracy? I guess you are out of defenses for dear leader. Good job you will get your star from your handlers for this one.

Obama war on AQ is over........war on US citizens has just begun.

So the 2014 campaign is now in full swing. The message wasn't for anybody not intending to vote for a Democrat. It was for the base and left leaners... The war is over. We've succeeded, spread the message. Once elected into Dem majorities, we'll teach those naysayers a lesson this country will never forget.

You really think President Obama should have given Mr. Churchill's speech word for word? I mean, what would the French have thought about 'We shall fight in France'?

I reckon it is '5 o' clock' in your part of the world.

Well, it is food for thought. I mean, they certainly are NOT expecting an attack by Obama.

Surprise is the key element.
