I saw a woman some years ago who was obviously 'White' (porcelain skin, strawberry blond hair and probably blue/green eyes) but had an honest-to-God Afro and some other Sub-Saharan Africa facial features.
Definitely attractive though-----she had IMHO the best of both 'races' and had I had the opportunity to ask her out, I would have done so.

Because as you have already stated, it is an antiquated, racist classification system that treats black as a contaminant, but any other racial admixture as absorbable and of course "white" as preferred.

I agree with you but for one aspect. The Sub-Saharan part. There are Blacks that are not Sub-Saharan. There are plenty of Black North Africans, Black Asians (such as many Indians), etc. But yes I do agree with you.

good god...with such findings.. u should be nominated for a nobel prize my friend.. because that certainly proves all previous findings false... and such information would be worthy of such.. for setting the scientific community straight....

Which is why race has always been, and will remain, nothing more than a societal construct.

Race may be a social construct in the manner in which it is used, manipulated, and wielded by those with personal axes to grind, political egendas to fulfill, and biases, but there's obvious differences that exist. True. We are all of a single race--the human race. We all descend from Adam and Eve (or as the evolutionists say, "Mitochondrial Eve" because they just can't bring themselves to utter the names of the patriarchal and matriarchal parents of the human race). However. Anyone can look and see obvious differences between a Black and a White person. It may not be race per say, but that's what people are used to. People groups would be a more accurate rendering of those differences--the White people group, the Black people group, and the Mulatto people groups.

I have no wish for a Nobel Prize even though your comment is sarcastically intended, my friend. One has not to achieve gold medals, prizes, recognition, and wealth to be intelligent. I have educated myself and continue to do so. I don't discount all scientist's findings, but when those that are hailed, praised, and almost worshipped as gods for their "knowledge" spend their lives believing in men from apes, billions of years, and macro evolution biologically and cosmically, they lose most of their credability. It's easier and takes much less faith to believe in Adam and Eve rather than an explosion, Lucy, or Australopithecus. There's absolutely no evidence at all that primeval sludge or slime is all life's daddy and momma or this world is over 10,000 years old, man from apes, whales from cows, or birds from dinosaurs, or that civilization was a long slow evolutionary process! No evidence at all! Another thing. Some of the smartest people on Earth never went to college or universities and some of the wealthiest people alive were highschool dropouts. So, if scientists who believe in something a million times more fanciful than Adam and Eve then they might as well believe in the Tooth Fairy, Santa Claus, and the Easter Bunny, because I hear that they evolved from some primordial pixy dust!

The One Drop Rule vs. Affirmative Action
Are people this ignorant about U.S. history? Almost every black person in AMERICA has close "white" blood/ancestry. This new "bi-racial"/"not actually black" thing defies logic. Most "immediately mixed" blacks often have LESS "white" blood genetically than many blacks that have two black parents, because often the black parent in a bi-racial union is a very dark/non-mixed person. The "whitest-looking" black people in the world are those who have two very fair-skinned black/Negro parents, not "immediately-mixed" people (i.e. one white/one black parent). For example, compare in appearance Halle Berry (white mother/black father) to Lena Horne or Fredi Washington (both these actresses had TWO black parents of light complexions! -GOOGLE the images to compare!) or Barack Obama with his brown skin, to late civil rights leaders like Adam Clayton Powell Jr. (who looked extremely white) or Maynard Jackson, Jr. (Both of these leaders had two black parents, and Jackson's mother was dark-skinned). How can Barack Obama be classified as something "other than black" because his mother is white, and these men who looked almost white be considered "all black". It defies logic and is contradictory to the EYES! The one drop rule created extremely fair Negroes, some "white-looking" in appearance and not necessarily AND MOST OFTEN NOT "immediately mixed". Light Negroes marrying other light Negroes for centuries created some really "white-looking" Negroes and Barack Obama is not one of them--he is clearly Black!
