So logic dictates that people have no control over their actions?
True or False statement
Logic being either on or off, which is it?
Logic meaning you take religion out of the argument because it has no basis in fact. Nor does an interpretation over a countless translated and revised doctrine dictate law.

Meaning you stated logic not philosophy as the grounds for this debate.
He has an opinion, which is is opposite of christianity.
Opposite of your idea of Christianity.
I will take the learned Bishop's opinion over yours. And he is absolutely correct.
The Bible very clearly states that slaves should be subject to their masters and yet we do not now condone slavery.
Why so you suppose it is acceptable to ignore this very clear edict from God?
So you were attracted to both men and women and you choose the opposite sex?
You made a determined, active choice that you would only be attracted to one. Is that what you are saying?
And the point that the Bishop was making is that God's word was clear about slavery too, and yet you aren't advocating for a return to slavery are you?
It did. That is one that was kept. No same sex. God made people to procreate, not die out.
What commandment is that?
