I can see if you reject God then you need to reject His words. Would it matter if the cities existed if God is trying to tell us how to live and behave? I think the lesson is more important than the history of the bible. After all, Jesus used many stories to teach lessons.

The Ten Commandants are not disgusting or bullying although some think so. Anything that says---"Thou shalt not", seems to be bullying to them but it is God saying it so it is only for our own good. Our parents said the same things to us and we came to learn it was for our own good.

Maybe I did, I don't know what causes someone to be attracted to what their body does not match. There is a disconnect somewhere for it not to match.
I could say the same thing about being infertile. God did it, but I know better. My body is human and it did it for the reason that we are human and human bodies don't work right sometimes. Many gays do not act out and should not be put down for that.
Many heteros don't act out, but some do. should we take away legal protections from heteros because SOME of them do things we don't like?
What do you consider "acting out"? Holding hands? Going shopping together? Cook outs? Doing laundry? Going to work? Playing with our kids?
