The Democrats are pro-black nationalism, so naturally blacks will vote Democrat. That's the party that seeks to destroy whites socially and financially.
Is that right? I am always fascinated by non-black people who seem to think they have more insight into the black community than those of us who walk around being black all day every day. Some of you just love to tell our story (from your limited perspective), and actually think you can do so better than we can ourselves. So please, do tell me more about how we black folks want to socially and financially destroy white people. I'm personally feeling a little left out. Nobody even bothered to invite me to the pro-black nationalism extravaganza.
what do you think? I am sure many people will be "offended" by this simple question, but few will answer it. I think had michelle obama been white, barack obama would have lost the black vote. just my opinion though.
Black women wouldn't vote for him anywhere near the numbers they do now but I say he still would have had a shot.
Two things, love him or hate, Barack Obama is a great campaigner and politician. Also, look at the people he has had to run against, they have all been second rate. So IMO he is good and lucky in his timing.
2016 the GOP have some great talent to compete with, Rubio in particular.

Michelle was they key to his credibility as a black candidate. He still might have been a state legislator from Hyde Park but beyond that no, I doubt he would have had much success in politics without her. There is little chance a black man with a white wife could win the Democratic nomination for president, especially a half white black man with who did not grow up in a black community. He would have been just another liberal academic without many real world accomplishments.

It's actually a good question. My first thought was that he would not have won had his wife been white, but the more I ponder it, the more I think he probably would have won anyway. I think he might have lost some votes however. It takes just a bit more open-mindedness to vote for a person in a mixed race marriage. A few here and there perhaps could not do it.
