Or Christians, which is the group you rant and rave against. You are proving my point if anything.

“It was a big disappointment. He cried for about 10 minutes because I told him that Boy Scouts were not honoring their own law," Butler said, referring to the BSA oath that he interpreted as barring gay people. "They say it -- 'On my honor I will do my best to do my duty to God and my country and to obey the Scout Law; to help other people at all times; to keep [myself] physically strong, mentally awake and morally straight,” he said.
And this man is leading young people? His behavior is a good example of bad parenting, and poor leadership skills. Young people, children aren't born with prejudice and hate, those things are learned. Oftentimes from their parents. The Scouts will be better-off without someone of his ilk.

I've seen it time and time again in my own life and others. I can virtually see 20 years in the future and the makings of a young agnostic. I can actually hear a 28 year old Evan telling his buddies,

Evan: "yeah, I love my Dad, but he could be an overly religious blowhard sometimes. He actually made me quit Scouts when they dropped the gay ban."

Buddy 1: "No way! That's awesome (snicker)"

Evan: "Yep, even ran to the newspaper to make a giant deal out of it. It's kind of embarrassing."

Pretty sure calling someone a "queen" is childish and an example of poor parenting. Where did YOU learn to say that?

What do Christian values have to do with letting gay youths in the Boy Scouts?

Christian values... lol.

It's ok to touch children, sleep around on your spouse, and jerk off to internet porn, just as long as nobody finds out.

But them gays!!.... Oh, no!!!

Give us a break with your Christian values ****, until all you do-good Christians start walking the walk.

Isn't it pathetic how some people can't just lay off, and leave others the hell alone? The level of shame I carry as an Amercian because of this, is nausiating.

I no longer buy Girl Scout cookies because they allowed a boy who thought that he was a girl(or at least that is what the parents brainwashed him into thinking) to join a troop - and I will no longer be able to support the Boy Scouts either.

I was once a scout and was proud to have been when they truly operated under the Scout Law.

It is a sad day now that they have backed down from the moral principles that once made them strong.

LOL!!!! You stopped buying cookies in protest to homosexuality. Way to make a statement, Mel.

Really, what kind of a psychopath does it take to get bent out of shape about a boy joining girlscouts? Who gives a flying ****...

oh god, there were always gays in the boy scouts now you just know who they are.. they say they want their kids to be apart of christian values but i bet they have no problems with have heterosexual scout leaders who have premartial sex, divorced or any other sin of choice. how about it just doesn't matter if they are straight gay or trisexual, since scouts isn't about sex last time i check no one should care or know and if they do know who cares??
