I'll be the first to admit that I have zero tolerance for those who abuse children and animals, for men who beat their wives/girlfriends, for people who hate others because of the color off their skin.......and for people who hate and discriminate against others just because of who they love.

So, I have no problem being told that I'm intolerant of anyone who takes part in one (or all) of what I posted above. At least I admit it - unlike those on these threads who pick and choose what they want to believe and follow out of the bible in order to hide the fact that all they really are are ignorant bigots.

And life is too short - why would I waste one precious minute out of it associating with people whose beliefs I can't tolerate?

Well, this thread is doing a good job in showing the true colors of the gay agenda.

IF all they were doing was withdrawing their children from the Boy Scouts, they wouldn't receive any attention at all. They are going to the press to get attention. And when you go to the press to "simply state your opinion", you do so understanding that your opinion will be both applauded (as you are doing for Mr Butler), and criticized (as others are doing). Somehow, you think the people criticizing are out of bounds. But when Mr Butler spoke to the press, this is what he invited.

Clubs and organizations don't make laws.

Laws are enacted by elected legislators and governments.

The BSA, an organization, has enacted a new policy to end exclusion and discrimination. Organizations do it all the time.

I repeat: no one forced this policy change - not the US Government, not the Sierra Club, not the Elks Lodge, not the B'nai B'rith, not the AARP - noone but the Scout leadership itself by a 61% majority. That's not even close.

Look: a gay person can serve in the military, can be a doctor or a policeman, can win gold medals for the US in the Olympics, can be appointed a federal judge or a US Ambassador to a foreign country ... but you say a gay kid can't be a scout????? Seriously?????
