Do you deny that million of families do a poor job of educating their children about sex? Do you think the rest of us should pay for that through higher STD rates, more unplanned pregnancies, etc?

A place where girls and teens can have sexual questions answered is not a bad thing. Learning and doing are two different things.

I'll be honest here without reading the other posts in the thread... it's better for people to be informed about life at a young age than to be sheltered... 10 is perhaps a little young, or perhaps it's not for learning about this stuff.. depends on the individual. This is why I support lowering the drinking age. People want what they can't have, and like to do what is 'forbidden' or 'naughty'... better to keep them well informed than have them learn about it from friends... in my opinion...

what is really that immoral about sex as a teenager? Worry about getting pregnant? You bet! But really.. let's be realistic here.... having people drink at 18 is not going to make the world come to an end... the US is quite backward on this issue compared to most first world nations.. Europeans drink when they are quite young, and Europe hasn't fallen apart.

More individual freedom is better than less, and giving people the responsibility along with the consequences that go with it is what any real freedom loving person should believe in.. not telling somebody they can't do this or that because it's 'immoral' or they are 'going to hell'

Girls should think of themselves as beautiful flower blossoms, not snapper fish.

The Government is force.

Force is action.

though i disagree with nmnita's stance on the issue, deciding not to masturbate does not make one a prude, even if it is for religious reasons.

True, just uneducated on how one's body works and lacking in the ability to enjoy pleasure.
