Gun control legislation is really the wave of the future and it could be that the US is returning to sanity. Of course it has been a useful tool for gun manufacturers to increase profits while at the same time increasing public safety and tax revenue. Here in Colorado I've been pleasantly surprised to see even our right-wing governor sign the legislation. New York, Maryland, Colorado, California-makes me proud to be an American.

Have these absurdities passed the California House and been signed by the governor? Are they actually Law?

This is why we need to revise the 2nd Amendment to allow a free citizen to own and carry any weapon they damn well please any place they have a right to be. Being armed to defend yourself, your family and anyone being criminally assaulted is a RIGHT more fundamental than any other. If you cannot defend yourself from criminal assault you will have no other rights because you will be DEAD.

I promise it wont work. I wish it would, but it wont. The damn criminals dont care about our law.

What does owning a printing press have to do with anything? I couldn't tell you the laws of being a semi truck driver either because I have never driven one.

Sanity?

Not quite. Gun control laws meet the definition of insanity.

There are 300+ million floating around, and I can assure you you can pass all the draconian laws you want - there will still be blueprints to manufacture guns, there out there all over the 'Net - they will never be gone.

And you see people throwing rocks at armed Government police and military in Syria and other places, that will be America. If that's what you want that's plain insanity.

I'm very sorry. I thought a little logic would penetrate, but I see I was wrong.

If you can't "get" the analogy, there is absolutely no purpose whatsoever, in going any further with you - none whatsoever.

How odd, I own multiple semi-autos with detachable mags. Am I supposed to get a notice in the mail or something? When did these "laws" go into effect? Hmm

Guess I'll take my AR15 to the range then. Looking at the OPs title you'd have thought I wouldn't be able to do this, but here I am doing it.

That's fine with me, I don't live in your fantasy world of a mind, so I don't understand the analogy you were trying to use. Better luck next time.

Thank you for re-confirming my earlier statement that there is no point in attempting to go any further with logic and reason with you, or rather, your posts, which are insane.
