Sheriff Joe Aarpaio is doing what he can in order to stem the tide.
He was until he was found guilty of racial profiling. He is not even allowed to enforce immigration law at the moment and a monitor will most likely be appointed by the federal court to make sure that he doesn't abuse his power by harassing people with brown skin for political gain any longer.
There are plenty of Brits who would like to come to the USA. But there are also plenty of Americans who would like the opportunity to live and work in the UK.
It is probably in the interests of both countries to ease restrictions on immigration or at least to facilitate a freer movement of people between them.
I could see a change in immigration that is about free movement --- that would set immigration levels on a more even level -- if 10,000 Americans want to permanently emigrate to Country A, then we would allow in 10,000 from Country A, if 100,000 Americans emigrate to Country B permanently, the we allow in 100,000 from Country B.
As it is now, one ethnic group dominates almost completely -- for both legal and illegal immigration. It's extremely lopsided.
In an opinion piece published this week titled “When Did We Vote To Become Mexico?” Coulter laments the demographic changes of the last few decades, saying she wished more immigrants came from the “mother country” of Great Britain rather than Latin America.
“Why can’t the country be more or less the ethnic composition it always was?” Coulter writes in the column, which appeared in WND Commentary under the heading “Invasion USA.”

I think that's actually a good idea. There are plenty of educated professionals worldwide who want to come here, and plenty of educated professionals here who want to emigrate. Let's have a 1:1 policy. We can set up exchanges.
You're right but some in here will consider it racist of course. I guess it isn't racist to allow the majority of immigrants to come from south of our border and Asia for the past few decades though that for the most part have no skills are poor and can't speak English? Don't ya just love the double standards and hypocricy?
I am a white guy and what is the problem if our racial diversity is changing?
It's a problem when we don't diversify our legal immigration quotas and our nation changes via illegal immigration. It isn't natural nor is it lawful. Aren't we allowed to retain the basic identity of our country and the demographics of it? If so, why not? Do you also have a problem with the Japanese, Chinese, Mexico, etc. and all other countries that have a mainstream culture desiring it to remain so by curbing legal and illegal immigration into their countries or just the U.S.?
