Those who hate Israel will claim it's because they don't believe in a religious state -- but yet you never see those same people object to the very many Islamic states that exist -- they hate only one religious state so yes, I think they're anti-Semite.
I'd call that hypocrisy, not anti-Semitism. Those lefties think of Israel as a Western nation and Islamic states as non-Western, and they love to criticize Western countries and Christianity while giving a free pass to non-Western countries and Islam because they think they're honoring diversity. It is not because they hate Jews or the Jewish people.

I disagree with my wife all the time and she has never accused me of being anti-Semitic, she accuses me of being a lot of things but being anti-Semitic isn't one of them.
Be careful...people at the moment have the Muslims to hate...if that does not work as a deflection for evil people they may resort back to the Jews.. History repeats it self...any time someone points and says "It's the Jews to blame" - Usually they are dupes who assist in deflecting the blame away from the real evil people and putting the blame on a scapegoat..Jews have traditionally been scapegoats...voluntarily and for profit.. The higher up the food chain Jews understand that when things go bad it might be their job to take the blame....NEVER trust a person who points at the Jew and states they are to blame .....it's a very old game..not worth playing.
Isn't it entirely a matter of the particular individual or group being referenced? There are people who are members of groups who have "if you're you are not 100% for us, you are against us 100%" attitudes and this is not a phenomena limited to any particular group.
The error is to encounter such a person and assume that the attitude being displayed is representative of all members of the group.
Further, those groups which are the target of the most frequent or most virulent prejudice, are the groups most likely to produce members with that "us vs them" mentality.

Disliking them, or spreading lies about them because they are Jewish, is.
