Reject those voices.
Right. Clapper was asked in March by Congress if they collected data on Americans.
His answer was "No, not wittingly".
He was asked again after the news broke and he said he stood by his answer and added "We're not reading your email".

How sick is that ?

There is nothing I believe from this government anymore.

The increased government surveillence is for appending data to the Obamacare file that will exist on every American. That's my opinion. They are creating a file on everyone to be used for anything by any government agency who says it's important to protect Americans and their interests. By making you think it's just a healthcare file is just how to get the ball rolling.

If the press would have spent his first term covering Obama rather than sniffing Obama's butt and his thrown we may have known about this sooner. If Obama's supporters would stop holding this guy up as their god then more of the truth may come out.

Too hard for you to understand? Obama defends it.

"If people can't trust not only the executive branch but also don't trust Congress, and don't trust federal judges, to make sure that we're abiding by the Constitution with due process and rule of law, then we're going to have some problems here." Obama added that the National Security agents behind the surveillance programs "cherish our Constitution...You can shout Big Brother or program run amok, but if you actually look at the details, I think we’ve struck the right balance,” Obama explained.

5/23/2013 is when he said that. The "global" war on terror is over and the shift is to deranged US Citizens who go extreme here on our own soil. And he gave Ft Hood and Boston bombing as examples.

But Ft Hood was classified as workplace violence so I don't know why he gave that as an example of the War on Terror.

So the War on Terror will no longer be fought on foreign soil.
The War on Terror has landed on US soil and will be fought here.

I can just see the left flipping out when a Republican goes into the White House, and uses information obtained during this presidency, and then expands it even further.
All of this will eventually be used against leftists. And they'll throw tantrums at that time.

Can Obama Use Drones Against Americans? Attorney Gen. Holder Did NOT Answer This.

Rand Paul finally forced Eric Holder to answer his question. The next day, Eric Holder issued what is probably the world’s shortest letter ever written by a lawyer:

History repeats only the outcomes are different.

Going to invoke Godwin's Law here but it's an example that everyone knows about.

Hilter first rallied the people by convincing them the Communists were the enemy.
He was a great orator and started rallying people with his speeches in 1922.
When he got into power the enemy started morphing into the Jews.
You all know the rest of the story.

In 1942 FDR signed an EO interning Japanese-Americans and the Supreme Court upheld it.
They used the data from the Census Bureau to round up Japanese Americans.
The use of Census Bureau data was denied by the government until 2007 when they admitted they used the data to round up the people.
Americans were convinced by the government that this was the right thing to do.
In 1988 Reagan signed a formal apology..."The legislation said that government actions were based on "race prejudice, war hysteria, and a failure of political leadership"
Japanese American internment - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The warning flags are there..global terrorism is morphing into domestic terrorism.
The majority of Americans are apathetic to this and simply don't care.

We don't know the extent of the data they are collecting on us.
And we don't know what they will use it for.
And government today is not run by the people nor for the people.

If this were actually the case, why watch every citizen unless it is to try to fabricate a reason (disagreeing with Obama is primary) to label them terrorists.

He also said that no one listened to our phone calls or watched what we did on the internet. We should trust this is so because he says so. The liar-in-chief really expects any who can think without his directions to believe this?

Time for this idiot to be impeached and removed from office.

We're all "potential terrorists" now.
