They should have more rights.

Nature is perfect--people, far from it.
Animals / reptiles are necessary for a healthy biosphere, humans are not.

The worth of a society can be judged by how that society treats its most vulnerable members.
Ask the earth what it wants more of . . . selfish, over-consuming, mega-waste producing humans who are breeding faster than a feral cat colony, or animals ?

Are you saying that people just suddenly showed up one day and invaded the planet? Interesting, I thought we got here through evolution, which would make us a part of nature.
