I hate all religion. Religion makes good people do horrible things. When you look at Christianity, many more than 3 have died as a result of that religion in the past twenty years..........and I am only looking at children.
Decry Christians all you want but don't compare them to Islam.
No Christian leaders are condoning and calling for killing.
No Christian leaders condone maiming and murder as following the law of their religion.
Islam lives by their Koran and is living centuries behind us.
They still support stoning for pete's sake.

Yes. Let's start with the Roman Catholic Church, or, at a minimum ... persons/groups which purported to represent that religious group ... as they undertook so many crimes against humanity.
i am perfectly comfortable with looking at the total number of whack a loons a religion has (as a percentage of the whole). and seeing what those whack a loons are actually doing.
take for instance christianity, of the 2 billion or so christians, there are the uber rare idiots who kill. I can think of 3 in the last 20 years. Then there is the Westburro Bapstist Church. total whack jobs but they dont kill people. i think there are 40 of them....
Then there is Islam. Every study I have seen suggests that at least 10% of the Billion Muslims are radicalized in their belief. Killings take place against Muslims every single day in the name of their god allah.
the contrast is stark. islam has a serious problem that adhearants need to get fixed.
In all cases of christians acting out insanely, the overwhelming majority of Christians denounce the act publically and quickly.
In Islam, even those who are not radicalized, tend to say nothing or explain it away.
Yeah, thank God Christians stopped burning witches, invading countries and forcing non-Christians to convert. Not to mention using religion as an excuse to lynch blacks.
The point is that Christians were once as bad as some Muslims are now. They evolved. Muslims are about 700 years behind Christianity as an organized religion and will evolve out of it, too.
And we can hurry that process along by not giving their crazies an excuse to turn people against us. You know, stop invading their damn countries for oil and stuff. Having said that, what is your point, OP? Do you want us to invade or something and make things worse for Americans everywhere? What the Taliban does in Afghanistan has no affect on your daily life, there's nothing we can do about it from here, and nothing we SHOULD do about it, as I just pointed out.
Until Russia and the West started mucking around in the Middle East, there WERE no powerful crazy fundamentalist Muslims. Let's remember who funded and backed the Taliban in the first place ...

How is this different from Texas laws? You can kill a child there if he steals something from your home at night(even if you invited him)
