Already follow her. And I agree with her sentiments. Banning is not the solution. Education and safety are.

Not really. The drug issue doesn't break down along neat partisan lines, as any informed person should know. There are plenty of libertarian-oriented conservatives who oppose the drug war. And plenty of progressive democrats who support it. Obama's chosen drug czar, Gil Kerlikowske, was a police chief here where I lived (Seattle). He's ardently anti-drug, to the point where he opposes med. marijuana.

The drug war war was kicked off under a progressive Democrat, Woodrow Wilson, in 1914 (the Harrison Act).
