woman who has been arrested 396 times meekly offered her gratitude and apologies to a Cook County judge Monday as she took a plea deal that will send her to a mental health and substance abuse treatment program.
What the hell? The only excuse is pure discimination, that she has not been put away before this. A man would never get away with this kind of behavior. Equal before the law, why is that so hard to enforce?
This woman is MICA (mentally ill chemically addicted) and these are the toughest people to help. The majority cycle through the criminal system, psych ERs/hospitals, and homeless shelters endlessly until they die. There are no more institutions so what's the solution?
