why did the parents send their kid out as a stikebreaker - sounds highly irresponsible to me.
Who said they sent their kid as a strike breaker? maybe they felt none of their business to get involved.
At any rate that does not excuse adults attacking a child. It was a cowardly act committed by 2 cowardly men.
Justify all you like but there is no justification for attacking a 10 year old child. None.
How about this approach instead.
Pull over. Hey kid come here a minute. Do you know what you are doing? We are trying to get those slave drivers to negotiate. Your hurting us by delivering those papers.
maybe that might have been a better approach? More safe?
What makes the tactics used by those men any different than what Mafia thugs do?
Ideally they would have just stopped the kid from delivering the papers, and not actually attacked him as such.
But sounds to me that you and the other poster are being very senasationalist about this incident.
Being that I was the victim I speak of I think I remember it as it happened. In light of how you justify 2 adult men attacking a child there is no point of further discussion..
Where we differ is that I never feel it is never appropriate to harm a child in any way, you feel the ends justify the means.
Even if it were a fictional account which it isn't your reaction tells a story of its own.
Perhaps scaring the kid was the only way to get the point across.
....And that about sums up the union thug mentality!
