You don't register aright. Voters registration is to prevent fraud. Look to Chicago for voters fraud.

So voting isn't a right? That's news to me.

It's a right? So that is why you cannot vote until a certain age, cannot vote if you are a felon, and cannot vote until you register. It's not in the bill of rights, voting is a privilege, left up to the discretion of the states by the Elector Qualifications Clause.

Transcript of the Constitution of the United States - Official Text

If you read the Constitution, the Electoral College is described but nothing about individuals voting.

Actually it is a right with rules, we currently leave gun laws up to the states as well. Currently if you are a felon and want to buy a gun you would be denied, and someone under the age of 18 cannot buy a rifle and someone under the age of 21 cannot buy a handgun. Care to try again? The right to vote is the same as the right to bear arms.

So if the government did away with voting, you would be fine with it because you don't think voting is a right?

Why should the seller be brought up on charges? How about the person who actually did the shooting?

Government has no need to know who owns what type of guns. Should we register everyone who buys books too?

The owner should be brought up on charges for not doing a proper background check with a private gun sale. Nothing worse than an idiot selling a gun to someone with mental issues that wants go use a gun to harm and kill people.

Much like gun rights and regulations are left up to the states to decide....again, voting is just like gun rights.
