Only 34 percent of whites approve of Obama
How sad that we are still so divided politically by race. This is NOT racism from whites, as the majority of whites originally voted for him--it is based on sheer incompetence and corruption of this president.

I am white and an Independent. I voted for Obama the first time and was very hopeful and supportive of his campaign after the devastation from Bush. At first I thought his failure was due to being inexperienced and in over his head, but soon I recognized how corrupt and bought off he is along with his arrogance and incompetence.
The real problem we have is we are not given good choices to vote for--the system is rigged and for the first time in my life I did not vote in the last election--cynicism has gotten the best of me.

Why bother voting anymore. Democrats don't want voter ID's and now you don't have to prove citizenship. They use the IRS and target anyone in opposition. The media has tingles up their leg at the mention of Obama and his adoring followers melt. The people want free stuff and don't care how it gets paid for. Welfare must be one hell of a good life.

It's pretty shocking that he still has a 45% approval rating. Tells you a lot about the ignorance of the American electorate. It's hard to blame the electorate, however, when the media acts as the propaganda wing of the Obama administration and the Democrat Party.

Anyway...it's progress.
Too bad these scandals didn't come to light last year , Obama wouldn't be in the WH.

I guess those 34% are the ones spying.

If his numbers stay down it will hurt the dems in 2014. That's just basic politics.

Don't any of you remember the 2006 mid-terms where none of the republicans up for re-election wanted any association with Bush whatsoever?

Popular presidents can shore up key seats by stumping for them....which is what Obama did for Corzine back in 2009. When the popularity falls, they can't do this as effectively.

Considering that the dems are looking like they are going to lose some Senate seats, decreasing approval ratings for Obama is not something that a savy democrat should be laughing off.

Ditto.

Voted Obama 2008 then realized that he was Bush 3.0 with his wars and corporate bailouts etc etc.

Didn't vote in 2012.
