Wanetta Gibson, the woman who falsely accused linebacker Brian Banks of rape when they were both students at Long Beach (Calif.) Polytechnic High School, has been ordered to repay $2.6 million in damages related to the $1.5 million she received from the Long Beach School District in a 2007 lawsuit

It's a sad situation. I can't imagine how difficult it will be for him to recover.
What the hell are you talking about. Can't you read? I do not support that disgusting piece of lying ass for accusing him of something he didn't do. She should go to jail the same as she made him and suffer X 2! Stop being so damn eager to attack others.

Damn, learn to read. And yes, I am a conservative.

Why did she get the money in the first place. Seems like taxpayer money is being shelled out.

I can read perfectly fine. I was referring to this line:

You make the rest of the conservatives look bad. It's no surprise that the party gets a bad rep.

There is no way to give that man back what should have been some of the best years of his life. How anyone can experience what he has and not be bitter is beyond me.

Please note that Brian Banks, who had now been shown to be innocent, took a plea agreement for a crime he did not commit, that ought to make all of us a little sick and shows a hole in our justice system that few choose to acknowledge.

I agree that the death penalty should be on the table and at the very least a minimum prison sentence of twenty years should be imposed on her.

The worst part about this story is that we know thousands more men have been falsely convicted of rape and remain in prison because they are unable to prove their innocence.

While we're on the subject and considering what she did, what else do you think should happen to her?

Democrats are happy their taxes are getting put to good use .

Republicans think he got falsely accused because he wanted to be and he deserves what he got.

OK. Let's calm down here.

We aren't Iran. It's called the justice system, not the revenge system. Paying the guy 2 million in damages which he won't see anyway, and 5 years in prison would suffice IMO.
