As I was on the phone with the 911 dispatch (Zimmerman was), I would have stayed in the car as I was told, and allowed REAL law enforcement officers to handle it.
but being neighborhood watch, I would have followed as well. don't know about there in florida, but dispatchers here are just private citizens, not sworn officers.
1) black people all look alike (the kid in the second picture looks nothing like the kid in the first one)
2) black people's heads magically repel rain, wind, and cold (since he apparently thinks that Martin was "in disguise", rather than covering himself against the elements like every single non-black person who wears a hoodie ever)
3) that Martin just appeared from out of a portal and attacked Zimmerman like in a cartoon (apparently the OP never listened to that police tape of Zimmerman following Martin in his car, and then getting out and chasing him on foot, because he was enraged by Martin just walking down his street)
ETA: By the way, Martin looks to be about the same age in that picture, as he did in the photo of him in the Hollister shirt that it says, without evidence, is "four years old". It's like black skin renders some people blind.
I'd probably wonder what went wrong in my life that I live in a neighborhood where we need to have a band of armed vigilantes to protect us from criminals (or anyone, really).
I'd probably also wonder what went wrong with my country and its social and economic policies.
Alas, never sweat the real stuff. It's all just normal, right?
Nothing to see here - turn on the TV, go to the mall, spend two hours a day in a car commuting to a job, have no time for your spouse and kids, and pretend everything is just fine. Hey, we all got a flatscreen - woohoo.
Nobody on this site knows the facts of the case even though people with conflicting versions are convinced they know.
I know there is going to be a trial... I know the defense as well as the prosecution usually have some evidence that is not revealed to the public... I know that from everything I've heard that I don't know enough to pass any judgement either way. I know Zimmerman was older and out of shape, rather resembling the Pillsbury dough boy and is not the sharpest crayon in the box. I know Martin was young and in shape and had the potential to be an attacker.. Not sure if he was or wasn't and guess what... Neither do any of the rest of you..
