But just a tid bit... According to this ATC recording, the last pilot speaking to the tower describing what he saw, said he also saw a bright light (which is has mistaken for landing lights), was in the area when the plane TWA800 exploded.

just something bizarre to think about

I don't think the investigators are accusing the navy or military all they said was that they have evidence that an external force had caused the plane to go down. They are however saying that the FBI covered up the evidence though they don't know why.

Maybe not the investigators. Just the ill informed who seek to blame the Gov for every wrong doing. I don't trust the fed either. That said when they do sin it is for a reason. Shooting down an airliner serves no purpose.
I simply try to post facts as to why it could not have been a Navy ship as root cause.

Ah, no he was working in France when he embraced the conspiracy theory... he exiled himself in 2000 making good on his vow to leave the country if Bush won.

None of the six investigators are saying it was a Navy ship. Just that the crash was caused by "one or more ordnance explosions outside the aircraft". Those could have come from terrorists in a boat, or Santa in his sleigh.

I'd still like to see this "evidence" and "proof" they say they have.

Originally, I thought the "investigators'' were former NTSB investigators. It appears these 6 are aviation professionals with a viewpoint. The only one close to being an investigator is the guy from ALPA. His only role is to represent ALPA members at NTSB hearings. A portrayal of this is depicted in the Denzel Washington movie "Flight".

In any case, is doesn't appear any of them were involved in the NTSB investigation of TWA 800. Strictly professional heresy in search of a buck.

Historically, with any monumental aviation accident, there's individuals on the fringes of credibility who come forward with "expert" opinions". The poster girl is Mary Schiavo who was the IG for the DOT, when the ValueJet crash occurred in the Everglades. She's a lawyer with a private pilots license. But, she's on retainer with anyone of several news channels, to give "expert opinion" anytime an aviation event hits the newswire.

Yeah but starting internet rumors and threads like this one are a great form of free advertising when trying to make a buck off a conspiracy movie.

Loved the "teasers" too about how they'd give more info out on Wednesday. Classic.

Has this been confirmed or not? The story in the Washington Times last night said one investigator was part the NTSB team that handled the investigation, and another was an investigator for TWA that worked the investigation on behalf of the airlines. That is why I was giving this some weight. If they're purely outsiders then this will be quickly buried or ignored.
