I am so impressed with his ability to express himself, he is an elightened soul.
I really like his approach to this problem. I hope you'll listen to what he has to say. He is speaking before a Home Affairs Committee in Britain.

here Russell debates with Peter Hitchens, who is obnoxious and rude, but some here may agree with him. He believes criminalization is a deterrent. Addicts need to be in fear of imprisonment, and punishment for anti-societal behavior is the solution.

LOL, The USA is the most imprisoned nation in the world with some of the most harsh anti-drug laws. Obviously, the drug laws haven't acted as much of a deterrent. Besides that, many criminals getting out of prison will tell you that the drugs were about as available on the inside as they were on the outside.

The states will go broke from imprisoning so many people over drug charges, along with making new crimes as felonies not related to drugs.

Is it any wonder that Prisons are run by private global conglomerates? Prisoners = Revenue.

End the war on drugs!
