If it weren't old, I am sure there will be RW spending outrage, but it's quite a sight...

A benign article about large aircraft and you try to make it political?

Now you know why we give you such a hard time for describing yourself as a centrist.

Have you ever seen, or heard a Galaxy C-5 Starlifter land or take off?

It has to be one of the planes which is hated most by flightline maintenance crews, it blows gravel, sand, rocks, dirt and everything else onto runways.

In flight, it looks like a very large floating object, like a blimp, but with engines. I don't know how they ever got this tub to fly.

Of the 7 airplanes:
1 has been owned by NASA since the 1960's (Super Guppy)
1 is a Russian cargo jet (An-225)
1 is a cargo plane owned and operated by Boeing (Dreamlifter)
2 are US military cargo jets (Super Galaxy and Globemaster)
1 is the European Airbus civilian airliner
1 is the Boeing 747-8 Intercontinental civilian airliner.

Outrage!

Conditioned reflex over RW whining about any spending that doesn't suit their agenda?
