I would be terrified if I was walking home from a convenience store after dark and some guy first followed me with his truck, got out of his truck, and ran after me!
Also, age has everything to do with fright and TM was only 17 years old.

I don't know that being 17 made him more terrified than if he'd have been older. If it fit the narrative, you might be saying a 17 year-old is too stupid to know fear when they should.
But he smoked cannabis! And put Gang signs on his Facebook page!

By normal standards, Zimmerman at age 28, should have been at least somewhat wiser than Martin at 17. After all, Zimmerman had had 11 more years of life experience than Martin.

It's pretty clear that Zimmerman was just defending himself. The same people calling for Zimmerman's head on a platter thought OJ was innocent and voted for Obama twice. In other words, they long ago lost any credibility on any issue.

Exactly. The problem is some want Tm to be the wounded dove and some want GZ to be the unsung hero.
The reality is GZ pushed the envelope of common sense into the area of stupid.
TM walking minding his own could have and should have ran home or simply asked what GZ was about.
We dont know what led to the conflict other than GZ's word which is in question.
GZ does in fact have a history that demonstrates self control issues, anger issues and poor judgment.
TM has a history also but he was also 17 and I haven't met a lot of 17 year olds who do well under pressure.
