Isn't it time to repeal the U.S. and Canadian border yet? We share the longest and most peaceful border in the world.
It's time to also be able to move and work freely between those two nations without any need to obtain citizenship and green card just like EU nations.
Canada should be like a US State, and USA should be like a Canadian province, yet still different nations.
And do away with the inquisition we have to face each time we cross the border? You'd be depriving border guards of their power-tripping, bully game!
The Canadian border guards want to use any excuse they can to deny entry SO.... until they stop acting like their crappy country is so special that you have to be a SAINT to enter, we should BOYCOTT Canada and just spend vacations right here in the USA!
Better yet, close OUR border to all the snowbirds from Canada from October to March and let them freeze their butts off at home for a few winters.... then maybe the stupid border rules will get a little more reasonable.

If Sovereign Americans get out of line Her Majesty has the RCMP (Royal Canadian Mounted Police) Canada's National Police Force and Security Agency to take care of them. Remember the Mounties always get their man or woman.
The RCMP hasn't been Canada's security agency for quite some time. That responsibility falls on CSIS (Canadian Security and Intelligence Service).
Felony? Canada can deny you entry for a misdemeanor. Thousands of Americans have been denied entry to Canada for a DUI conviction. It was so bad and making such a dent into their tourism, they had to change the rules. Now if you land you can, MAYBE, obtain a one time waiver to get in. Otherwise, you have to wait for 10 yrs, AFTER all probation, etc is completed, then apply for a "Rehabilitation Certificate." Of course, that is only American's going into Canada; not Canadian's coming here. We of course, let anyone in.
DUI/DWI is a serious crime in Canada.

We don't sort recycling here. We chuck plastics, paper and metal into our blue boxes and it gets picked up by the recycling truck the same day the garbage goes out. We also have a separate truck for organics. But I don't use the organics truck because I like to compost rather than pay for fresh soil for my garden.
This varies by municipality in the U.S. My municipality does not require people to sort recyclables. Organics do however go into a different truck where it's all ground into mulch.
Maybe this is why Al Bundy always had his hand in his pants, while watching TV?
