So the USA is 3rd in murder in the world. But if you take out Chicago, Detroit, Washington D.C. and New Orleans, the United States is 4th from the bottom for murders.

(These 4 cities also have the toughest gun control laws in the United States, and are all controlled by Democrats.)

This should tell you that the liberal gun agenda is misplaced. They want us to give up our rights because they can not manage their cities.

That's the second time I've read this here today. Where does this ridiculous claim come from?

Source? I highly doubt this is true. And when you speak of our murder ranking, is this per capita or total?

The murder rate is actually worse in eastern Kentucky than in all of those places, genius.

The United States has over 16,000 homicides per year. Those four cities probably account for a little over 1,000 of them.

I've heard this about the cities, but I live in a rural conservative area and this area has a raging meth and heroine problem.

Maybe liberals solve their problems with murder, conservatives with drug addiction, huh OP?

Gun violence has nothing to do with a bunch of partisan nonsense. The cities you listed have lots of gun violence because of gang culture in the black communities. Those gun laws are an attempt to reduce shootings. In some cities like New York and LA, strict gun laws have reduced gun violence significantly, but in cities like Chicago and DC, they have done little to help. Each large city is a different scenario and should be approached differently.

New York is more liberal than any of those cities and has the lowest per capita murder rate of pretty much any major city in the country.

PA is a blue state with a Rep. Gov. In Luzerne County which is hardcore Blue and always has been you have a lot of corruption. It always has been corrupt. Do you blame the Gov because county judges were caught selling jail terms for kids to a private owner of a detention center?
Is it the Gov's fault that he has corrupt judges that the good people elected?
Yeah I blame local gov's for the crime in their individual cities. I don't blame an entire state for the mess people make of their own city. In fact most people wouldn't blame an entire state for the mess in an individual city.
What should the gov do? Send in the National guard and declare martial law?
