I'm absolutely certain that if your wife & her friends called each other "*****" in jest, because sometimes we do that, and then a man called your wife a "*****", you would NOT stand for that. In fact, I'm betting you'd probably haul off on the guy. So tell me, why would you not afford that same line of thinking to the "n" word? It's an offensive word & you know it, whether you are offended by it or not.
