Babies cannot survive on their own either. A baby needs someone to nurture him/her until he/she are able to become independent. It's no different with an embryo. Children whether they are alive or not are dependent upon someone to nurture them, whether they are inside a womb or not.

I have realized they actually don't get it. It's all about the embryo and fetus, and childless couples getting cute newborns. Beyond that they are incapable of any type of critical or intelligent thought on the subject.
