Who are you to decide he is a Catholic? Catholics are instructed that marriage is a blessed sacrament and that homosexuality is a sin. To support something deemed an abomination is the equivalent of a sacrament is blasphemous.

Um the other half aren't Christian. The other half goes to Church less than heterosexuals and are more likely to say religion is not important to them. So I appear to be correct in concluding homosexuals are without God.

What "level" are you talking about. What distinction is there between "do this and don't do this" regarding various things in the bible. You cannot just elevate "holy matrimony" to some sacred pedestal because you want to and ignore everything else you find insignificant. That is the problem with fanatic religion.
